Youth killed walking home

Written by CBC NEWS Monday, 31 December 2012 14:48

Residents of the quiet rural district of Crab Hill are still in shock after the shooting death of a young man from the community.

21 year old Kamale Lamar Broomes, of Crab Hill Number Two was shot in the head while walking towards his home. He died on the spot. His death comes as police this week reported a drop in the number of murders on the island. Relatives and friends have described the former student of St Leonard’s Boys as easy going and an outstanding bowler for the North Stars Cricket Club.

Broomes is survived by his parents Idell and Sherlock Broomes and his five year old sister.

As investigations continue [Barbados] police are asking anyone with information about Kamale Broomes death to call police emergency telephone number 211 or crime stoppers at 1-800 tips.

Almost a year has passed, and the wheels of Justice in this Barbados Murder case have seemingly come to a grinding halt.  But as they say in the islands.....No Problem!  This is where MY God takes over!!

The bible actually echoes these words in Romans 12:19:

"Do not take revenge, dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me. I will pay them back, declares the Lord."

While in Barbados on March 10, 2014, I had the opportunity to agree in prayer with a grandmother whose grandson had been murdered.  We touched and agreed that, truely, Justice will be served; that his murderers will ALL come to Justice in her life-time. Father I cement this prayer, asking that EVERYONE involved directly and indirectly be exposed publicly and swiftly, just as you will do in the senseless and merciless killing of Kamale Broomes of the same neighborhood.  I declare and decree that No weapon formed against any of the victims' families will prosper, according to Isaiah 54: 17, in Jesus' MIGHTY name.  Amen and Amen!

Prayer works!  The grandmother was around to witness the above. That's why we give our frustrations to God and NEVER take matters in our own hands. God is NOT sleeping!
